Jacksonville, FL, February 9, 2022–Snyder Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric, a leading home services company in North Florida, installed an air conditioning and heating system provided by Trane’s Do What’s Right Program. It allows Comfort Specialist dealers to help those in need.Snyder donated the installation, supplies, and necessary parts. During a recent repair visit, service technician Joe Cook identified several costly repairs needed to get homeowner Minnie’s end-of-life system running again. The 86-Year-Old didn’t have the financial means to cover the repairs and decided to leave it nonoperational as the winter weather approached. Cook acted after learning the HVAC system hadn’t functioned in two months.
Mrs. Minnie was surprised to see the installation crews how up with her new Trane 2 Ton 14 SEER system and initially thought it was a scam. Minnie said, “No one gives you anything for free.” She was overwhelmed with gratitude after learning about the program and that she wouldn’t incur any costs. The Snyder team replaced the 15+ year old Trane system just days before the weather unexpectedly dipped to freezing temperatures.
